In this two-hour class you’ll master the essential foundations of safe, effective rifle and shotgun use — no live fire required. Designed for beginners and seasoned shooters alike, the course works with straight stocks, pistol-grip setups, and both iron-sighted and optic-equipped long guns.
Key skills include correct shoulder and cheek weld, loading/manipulation drills, sight picture and target tracking, and movement with a long gun. Everything taught is practical for hunting, home defense, or becoming a more confident long-gun handler.
Class includes instructor lecture and hands-on drills.
Students will require the following materials:
Firearm (NO AMMUNITON) - If you need to borrow a firearm for class, let us know during the enrollment process when asked.
Rifle/ Shotgun Sling (Optional)
Closed Toe Shoes
One (1) magazines for your rifle (if applicable)
